This was our 4th year covering London to Monaco, and as usual we were blown away by this year's ride! Filming out of sunroofs through the day and editing through the night, it was a lot of hard work for the Drone Exposure team, but worth every second. What an incredible journey across Europe, with a fantastic group of riders all pushing themselves to the limits for a brilliant cause. Even though we weren't riding, we felt like we were all part of one big team united by a love of oceans and marine life, and that we were all making a positive impact on the world. Roll on L2M2023!”
Building a handmade bamboo bike (‘Bam-Blue’) and cycling from London to Monaco with Blue Marine was a ‘hands on’ and truly amazing experience! As part of the Winch Design Sustainability Initiative it aspired to raise awareness of sustainable materials and promote their use, whilst enjoying a healthy lifestyle and looking good! It was a joy to ride over the Belgium cobbles and alpine roads of the French Alps, with such a wonderful team and in the knowledge, it was for our plant’s marine conservation.
Arriving at the Monaco Yacht Show for the first time on two wheels with the L2M team was extraordinary; and each year just gets better. Y.CO is passionate about preserving the ocean for future generations and has proudly supported the Blue Marine Foundation for a number of years. At Y.CO we believe in harnessing the power of community to make a difference.
The London to Monaco event does just that; bringing people from around the superyacht industry together to raise awareness and support Blue Marine for global projects that positively impact the environment and keep our oceans healthy.
We are also very proud to have introduced the Blue Marine initiatives to some of our industry colleagues, owners and charterers over the years and they too have chosen to support the great missions that the Blue Marine team are working on each year. Together we can make a difference as we fight the important global challenges that lie ahead
